Here is an article about infighting during the Iraqi Parliament's last meeting. Now put your stuff on a camel and shut up.
Iraq Leader and Sunni Officials in Sectarian Clash on Security
"Iraq’s Shiite prime minister and Sunni lawmakers hurled insults at one another during a raucous session of Parliament on Thursday, with the prime minister threatening a Sunni lawmaker with arrest and the Sunni speaker of Parliament threatening to quit.In the Parliament room, politicians shouted over one another trying to be heard. Mr. Mashhadani finally yelled for everyone to “shut up.” He then used an ancient Arabic phrase, literally meaning to “put your stuff on the camel,” which roughly translates as, “We expect more of this body.” He said in disgust, “I cannot see how it is possible that a new security plan can work.”"

Like Dr. Condoleezza Rice said, "You are on borrowed time." Now make a damn decision cause I did not fight over there for nothing!
It seems like all they do is argue and in the end nothing gets done. Wouldn't it be better if they had just come up with something that they can agree on and get cracking!
Now I understand why Iraq had so many dictators. They are the only people who can get things done.
I got a phrase S#$t or get off the pot!
The war is not unwinnable, they just need to realize that each religion has a right to live, and stop frickin killing each other.
You can't deny the fact that the people of the middle east hate each other with a passion. The only thing they hate more is Israel (and consequently us). That's what binds them together and keeps them from killing each other (which is not even true in Palestine today).
Iraq is Iraq. We did what we had to do... knowing what would happen after we did it (the reason we didn't want to go into Baghdad in the 90's was because we would get bogged down as we are now). The fate of Iraq is in the young soldiers who are standing in lines as targets to enlist and who's families are being harassesed for trying to better their country. Democracy is not easy... it takes bloodshed as we learned through our own experience.
ON another note... don't let the news media feed you BS on what's going on in Iraq. The dumb fucks at CNN love to show off the videos of insurgents sniping or blowing up our soldiers (playing the same 3 videotapes 400 times). How about you play some reality of how 16 insurgents are getting rocked at a time because they decide to attack our forces? Something you won't see on CNN... it is somewhat graphic.

the ending is .wmv I don't knwo why its not showing up
Also wanted to add another thing. These guys that are blowing up little kids, women, and aid workers (or cutting their heads off) have NO PLACE on this planet. Any oppertuninty that engages them in combat and those that support them is worth grabbing and fighting for.
It's going to take another 9/11 or worse for people of this country to realize that the goal of al-Qaeda is not get us out of the Middle East but to kill every last "infidel" on this planet... which includes other Muslims who do not live like them. In pretty much all cases good people suffer for it... the people of Lebanon did this past year and the Palestinians have been so for over a decade.
I know it's hard to believe any of this... between the guy standing in CCC telling you about the evils of America, "no more blood for oil" and the 100's of posters of "impeach bush" on campus. WE should have taken voulenteers to go talk to the Taliban, Saddam, and Usama buddy buddy and try to work things out that way...DAMN IT!!! Stupid US.
Nicely put Robert L Rivalries. Good to see someone has their head on straight.
